What is a board foot, and how does Sprey calculate it?
A board foot is the standard unit for spray foam volume: 1 square foot of area at 1 inch of thickness. Sprey multiplies width × length × thickness for every area you measure, then converts total board feet into material sets using each product's coverage — for example, a typical open cell set covers around 15,000 BF and closed cell around 4,500 BF. You set your own coverage numbers per material.
How does satellite roof measurement work?
You type the job address, Sprey loads Google satellite imagery, and you trace the roof outline on screen. The tool calculates the flat area, then applies a pitch multiplier (0/12 through 16/12) to get true surface area — so you can quote a roof without driving to the site or climbing a ladder.
Does Sprey work for insulation types other than spray foam?
Yes. Materials are fully configurable — spray foam (open and closed cell), blow-in cellulose, fiberglass batts, rockwool, and anything else you install. Each material carries its own unit of measure, coverage rate, and cost per set, bag, or roll.
Can my crew use it in the field?
Sprey is built mobile-first. Estimators measure and price from a phone or tablet on site, crews see the schedule through Google Calendar sync, and photos upload straight from the job site to the project record.
How do customers receive and approve quotes?
